What we collect, and when

When you contact us

Our contact form asks for your name, email, and message. We use this only to reply to you. Your message is sent to us by email — it is not stored in a database on this site.

When you subscribe to our newsletter

We collect your email address, and — to confirm consent and prevent abuse — basic technical details such as your IP address and browser, plus a record that you agreed to subscribe. We use a double opt-in: you must confirm by email before you are added. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter, or by contacting us.

When you leave a review

We collect your name, email, rating, and review text. Reviews are moderated and only appear on the site if we approve them. Your email is not shown publicly.

Automatically

We use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics to understand how the site is used (page views and performance) — this does not use tracking cookies and does not identify you personally. We also use an anti-spam check on our forms to keep out bots.

Cookies & storage

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. To remember your newsletter preferences (for example, so we don't show you the sign-up again after you've subscribed or dismissed it), we store a small amount of information in your own browser. You can clear it any time through your browser settings.

Bookings and maps

Bookings are handled by Lodgify, our reservation provider, on their own platform. When you book or pay, the information you enter is processed by Lodgify under their privacy policy. Our location map is embedded from Google Maps, and Google may collect data when the map loads, under Google's privacy policy.

Service providers we rely on

We use trusted providers to run this site. They process information only to provide their service to us:

• • Sanity — stores our website content, newsletter subscribers, and reviews.
• • Resend — sends our emails (confirmations, the welcome email, contact-form messages).
• • Vercel — hosts the website and provides the privacy-friendly analytics.
• • Cloudflare — helps deliver the site, route our email, and filter spam.
• • Google — provides the embedded map.
• • Lodgify — handles bookings and payments.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you — just contact us at the address below and we'll take care of it.

How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected — for example, your newsletter subscription until you unsubscribe — or as required to keep records of consent.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
